About Us

The Racwa Aviation College is a division of the RACWA group of companies.The parent organisation within the group is the Royal Aero Club of Western Australia (RACWA). RACWA is a not for profit organisation delivering flying training, aircraft hire, charter services and aircraft engineering services. The group has undergone many changes in its business focus since its inception in 1929. Today the mission of the group is to provide quality aviation activities and facilities for its customers and students.

Flight Training Approvals - JAA - CASA

The group holds approvals to conduct integrated flight training courses leading to the issue of the Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL) and Commercial Pilots licence (CPL) from the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA - European Licence) and CASA the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (Australian Licence). 

Facilities

The group has a modern multi-million dollar training facility, including an upstairs lounge,cafe and licensed bar.

Cockpit and crew viewThe group has more than 40 aircraft on the flight line and our team of of both ground and flight instructors are highly motivated and experienced.

The aircraft are maintained by an experienced team of  maintenance engineers who form a division of the group. This ensures high levels of aircraft serviceability and availability to students.

All flight instructors who work on the JAA programme hold JAA licences and ratings.
